Just checked shadowstats.com and read April 2008 article on hyperinflation. Paints a pretty bleak picture of the future of US and global economies...financial armageddon dwarfing the 1930's.

Are you sure this isn't just another cottage industry site like JFK, Aliens, et al? If you keep reading end of days stuff like this, it WILL make you feel like it's Alice in Wonderland. No offence intended.

We all know they fudge the figures but IMO if they don't continue keeping a lid on letting the real state of the economy getting out, there'll be anarchy.

Just wondering where you recommend putting your hard-earned if this scenario eventuates. I know you're a gold bull but gold won't buy groceries.

A gold-backed currency maybe. We'd all love to see that!
