I don't think it leads to segregation, these initiatives lead to better opportunities for aboriginal people who are seriously marginalised but you have a point, at some juncture there needs to be more crossover and inclusion for aboriginal people into western society because no matter how carefully we tread aboriginal people will struggle in modern western suburbia especially if it springs up in places like Alice Springs or other far flung rural locations. But look at Arnhem Land. These places work where aboriginal people have their land and their way of life. I wish there was a lot more of this.
