I've been contacted by Essence Securities from China (supposedly) about this pre-IPO. They say the shares are trading at $12.50 right now. But they're not listed yet I said and then they clarified that that is the rice they are selling them at , and they are guaranteed to be trading at $35 when they launch. Guaranteed I say? Well that's the consensus of all the experts they said.
And where can I see the prospectus? They'll email me. Still haven't seen it.
When I asked for information about the IPO and evidence that they were one of the underwriters (which they claim) they only point to news articles about the IPO, nothing concrete from the company.
Their websites are listed as essence.com.cn and essencesecurities.com but they rarely show up.
My contact was a guy named Clark Logan, and I don't mean to sound racist but pretty sure by his accent that he would have a more Chinese sounding name..
