Was also looking at a few of the posts and thinking what the heck are you guys on about?

They've made the massive discovery already.

Why would they need a JV Partner now to enjoy in ALK's success - JV's are useful when a Company can't afford to drill its prospects itself, in order to find a good potential deposit (they've already found Boda and it's up there with the best, if it comes up anything close to Cadia).

If Boda turns out anything like Cadia it'll mean:
1. ALK becoming a much bigger company, valued in the billions and billions
2. Gets taken over by one of the Majors in the area (Newcrest, Newmont, Freeport) for billions, assuming Gandal plays ball.

In terms of financing, ALK has a good history of getting sheet done and lets not also forget that Gandal + Daddy + Family are worth $6B+, and they know how to make money.
