I was a geologist with WMC at the time. Unfortunately we (WMC) stuffed up. The local geologist explored on savages ground (illegal) found the deposit and then WMC bought it from Savage with insider knowledge ( the geologist had a field notebook detailing the exploits).
Not all bad, I bought some Savage shares and clipped the ticket on the way through.
I could also tell some stories about MIM but wrong forum ( apologies).
