4. USA un-friendlies have been spooked by the confiscation of Russian digital assets and want gold instead - I buy gold.
5. The world is heading for chaos - I buy gold.
6. The Green Transition occurs and lots of copper is required for batteries and EVs etc - I buy copper.
7. The world goes to war and munitions need copper - I buy copper.
8. The world prospers and economic growth accelerates and copper is required for nice, benign construction purposes - I buy copper.

Hmmm - the world's best analysis by way of confirmation bias, but there is a lot of noise heading in one direction I have to say.
