No the index doesn't trade over the weekend, it trades overnight Friday night till Sat morning hence i do the close at Sat. morning, and they are the set up for open Monday morning,the index doesn't trade until Monday morning. either.
But why is may vary on open is futures could have a stack of orders in waiting..
