Hi Acouch.
I love to see different charts as well. I thought I'd put a couple of charts up to compare techniques. I think the techniques may differ but the message remains the same.
On my daily chart below, I use a Combination of some Darryl Guppy indicators i.e. GMMA (Guppy Multiple Moving Averages) & CBL (Count Back Line). I also apply some Fibonacci Retracement lines and wave theory on top.
The Daily chart in my analysis says to me that the price is range bound. The CBL (long Green line) tells me that to break the current trend the price has to break $0.775 on the upside. The CBL (short Red Line) tells me that if the price drops below $0.70 the trend is broken to the downside. All based upon S/T momentum.
GMMA shows the interplay of S/T EMA (Blue lines) & L/T EMA (Red Lines). The Blue lines represent the behavior of the small retail traders while the L/T red lines the behaviors of the L/T large investors like institutions. The Blue retail lines have dropped into the red lines meaning retail investors are selling. The blue lines haven't been successfully broken (and maintained) below the Red lines yet, so the Institutions haven't started selling yet.
If the price drops below 73c, and stays below, the Red line the trend has broken to the downside. Large investors have joined in on the selling. If the price stays around 75c or above the current sidewise momentum is intact. If the CBL price of 77.5c is broken, we are back to an upward trend.
Similar conclusions different TA.
Considering Fibonacci and Wave Theory on the Monthly chart below.
On this chart the current L/T wave shows a buy pivot occurring in Oct-24. This uptrend has continued unbroken in a series of rising Key Bars until this Apr-25. The Apr-25 price is in buy zone of this wave but the price hasn't continued upwards from this Buy Zone. There have been no Key Bars since Apr-25 and the price is moving sideways. Same Breakout rules follow the 1 hourly chart.
There is a high chance the share price will move back to the POC (Point of Control) 50% price point of 97.5c in the medium term.
I'm definitely no expert in TA, but it is funny how patterns form and repeat. You can place real world events onto the charts to explain moves e.g. The current Merger follows the upward price movement etc.
I pick my stocks based upon good company Fundamentals, but I use TA to monitor entry and exit points combined with what I know of the company.
Good to share TA ideas and views.
