I feel a little ignorant asking this, but here goes. If the share transfer was 'off market' then why did it open at that price. I am sure that I have seen directors declare share transfers after the event as off market and they have had little or no influence.
no one knew why the price had dropped (until announcement some 4 hrs later). As my old mum used to say when she thought the greengrocer was fiddling the scales ....' sharp practice' .
