Just thinking about ALK - it's almost the perfect hedge against the US-China trade war isn't?
Buy ALK and you are long gold and long rare earths and the investment is derisked by large pile of cash and positive cash flow.
Dubbo is all permitted and the exploration work seems to have found enough likely gold to deal with the mine-life question.
What's not to like? I suppose management blowing the cash on a bungled development of the Dubbo project and/or losing operational focus on the gold operation.
