Just had a look at UGL's price today (monday), and saw that it jumped 3% from 1400hrs to close at $9.90 (after market was a bit lower than $9.90).

    WHY?

My guess is that it is because this piece of news was released at precicely that time in India (still waiting for ASX announcement):

"BL reported that Texmaco turned out to be the largest winner of rolling stock orders from the Indian Railways in 2008-09. It bagged orders for 3,455 wagons courtesy belated release of orders. The current order book of Texmaco stands at around INR 1,300 crore.

A JV company with United Group of Australia, an end to end rail technology solutions provider, has been incorporated to set up a facility to manufacture hi-tech wagon and locomotive bogie frames."
