So younger Rebel is choosing pasture eggs around $ 12 a dozen. Compared to "free Range" for $7 a dozen.
As I try and discuss cost benefit vs health benefit of the two products and "value" for money , I came accross a disturbing article where the CSIRO deem 1500 chickens per hectare the maximum... The lobbyists have successfully had an agreement so advertisers can say "free range" and have up to 10,000 chickens per hectare .

Us consumers are always led dow a path of being conned...

So back to eggs, it would seem linolenic acid is higher in grass fed, pasture raised. Now trying to see if they feed them soy or corn, also a no no ...

I digress, but grain fed beef is now off the table for us .... due to my Daughters research ....
