There is nothing "halal about Indonesian methods of slaughter and there is nothing of any merit in Australian government approach to "controlling" slaughter in Indonesia. There must be a raft of people involved in the slaughter revealed on four corners who have no interest at all in animal welfare or"mecca".

Slaughter is simly greed, cruelty and an absence of human conscience or spirit. The time for animal suffering is over. The way to "move forward" is to shut dowm the industry immediately. Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA)"condemns" cruelty on it website,however, its sincerity will only be realised if it suspends the live export immediately.
In saying all this it comes back to the board of MLA the directors should resign in shame?
