A bit of everything! The traveling was mainly due to volunteer work I was doing with my wife. About 6 years in Australia, then 8 years in the Pacific Islands, mainly Solomons. Came back in 2000, where I managed a company in Melbourne until 2006. Then left & took my incentive payout, which funded my foray into self-funded trading & investing on the stock market.
It worked! Havent looked back, as it coincided with the metals boom of 06/07, which has set me up, so I shouldnt need to work ever again.
Love it!
Still do volunteer work though, at the moment working with the Cambodian community & learning Khmer as an interest. Been over to Cambodia for three months, that really helps you get a proper perspective on life .. such a wonderful people, yet so totally devastated!
Anyway, thats my story! So my two main interests, Bannerman & Cambodia .... and a little golf thrown in on the side!!
