Duno . What is your logic behind such a decision ?
A : If you ( suggesting ) that you have 7M units of stock which is quite a considerable sum even at the lower spectrum of the market have you actually ( tried ) contacting the company to find out what is being done to adress the debt issues and if so what arrangements are being looked at to find a suitable line of finance or the possibility of a private consortium putting up the neccesary funding to meet compliance with the banks criteria .
B : it has been detailed in the paper that there are several interested parties looking at the current financial position of the company although the results of any such meetings or arrangements have not yet been released .
C : In due consideration to your purchase price 7M units at lets say 1.5c equates to 105K so if it is your intention to offset this loss against a larger tax gain then it might be worthwile but relative to the sustained loss it would have to be a sizeable gain .
D : If you had been in contact with the company you would realise there is a fair probability of the company resuming normal operational function which is where they are now with a reasonable of listing to official quotation .
E : To write 7M units off as a tax loss or " SELL " your unit holding to delisted seems like quite a strange decision . bearing in mind you are not " TEMPORARILY TRANSFERRING your unit holding to delisted as a tax haven , you are actually " SELLING " your unit holding to delisted as a legitamate transaction thus they " physically " own your shares after the deal is done .
mmmmmmmm....
