That certainly is another possibility, but isn't the DOW somehow a barometer for the state of the economy as a slowdown will have an impact on future earnings?
Anyway, as I said in another post i am currently neither a Bull nor a Bear, I basically have no idea what's gonna happen in the short to medium term, except that it'll be up, down or sideways. I guess the XAO will end up in the green tomorrow and I intend to short the initial rally and then go long for an arvo run .... and might still change my mind if my charts don't agree.
The charts certainly look like we have put in at least a short term bottom, but considering how unsure i currently am i am not ready to take any large or longer term positions and stick to daytrading for a little while.
