Completed: 2 Aug, 2021 to 6 Aug 2021 (4 and half days, 29 laying hours) Details: Lot is 374 sq m. 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. 4300 concrete masonry units (~20,000 SBE) Special: down to 1 operator in control van and 2 people on site ("could get away with one"). Site person does things like loading HX with blocks using telehandler, installing brick ties. Next build to be next door once slab cured. Income: ? Lintels (up to 4.8m long) made by FBR. Termimesh on slab; waterproof damp course flashing on first course and over lintels (coastal environment). Weather: some very heavy rain and strong winds Completed: 5 June, 2021. 16 build days Details: >60m long slab, big build (size of about 5 houses), walls up to 4.8m high. 8,670 concrete masonry units (36,500 SBE), dble leaf cavity wall. Build 2: community centre (first commercial structure) Location: Byford, WA; 40km south of Perth; cnr Balawarra and Kardan Blvd Builders: Archistruct, using HX2 and WaaS Weather: sunny, cloudy, hail, high winds, heavy rain Completed: Tues 1 Sept - Tues 8 Sept (HX returned to HQ for weekend) Details: 390mm x 230mm high x 90mm thick blocks; dble leaf cavity wall, step-down course below the slab; av lay speed 174 blocks/hr (800 SBEs/hr); top speed 228 blocks/hr; 15 courses high (~1.5 storeys); brick ties manually installed.
