Weather: Worked in some heavy rain
Completed: 29 Sept 2021 to 3 Oct 2021 ? (29 laying hours, so 149 blocks/laying hour)
Details: 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. dble leaf cavity wall. Small tech issue with motor in boom. Total distance travelled by layhead: 8.2km. Wall area: 354.43sqm.

Weather: Waited for bad weather to pass then built in beaut weather.
Completed: 2 Aug, 2021 to 6 Aug 2021 (4 and half days, 29 laying hours, so 119 blocks/laying hour)
Details: Lot is 374 sq m. 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. dble leaf cavity wall
Special: down to 1 operator in control van and 2 people on site ("could get away with one"). Site person does things like loading HX with blocks using telehandler, installing brick ties. Next build to be next door once slab cured.
Income: ? The price paid for 3 of the 5 bare lots was $555,000

Location: Amberton Beach, near Eglinton, northern Perth
Builders: Dale Alcock, using HX2
Materials: 8,670 concrete blocks (390mm x 90mm x 230mm) (36,500 SBE). Lintels (up to 4.8m long) made by FBR. Termimesh on slab; waterproof damp course flashing on first course and over lintels (coastal environment). Internally lined with 10mm plasterboard; externally lined with 10mm Acratex Texture Coat.
Weather: worked in some very heavy rain and strong winds
Completed: 5 June, 2021. 16 build days (57 laying hours - which calculates to 152 blocks/laying hour)
Details: >60m long slab, big build (size of about 5 houses), walls up to 4.8m high. dble leaf cavity wall. Water not connected to site. Some minor mechanical issues.
Special: 25 windows, many small ones; HX had to build from 5 different positions; FBR made the lintels

Weather: sunny, cloudy, hail, high winds, heavy rain
Completed: Tues 1 Sept - Tues 8 Sept, 2020 (HX returned to HQ for weekend). 25 laying hours (so 176.5 blocks/laying hour). Tenanted by real estate co and a cafe Feb 2021.
Details: dble leaf cavity wall, step-down course below the slab; av lay speed 174 blocks/hr (800 SBEs/hr); top speed 228 blocks/hr; 15 courses high (~1.5 storeys); brick ties manually installed. Rendered finish.
Special: 1st non-residential structure, new adhesive application system. Roof trusses made in advance according to CAD model.

Details: 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom residential home; 11 courses. Single leaf wall. Average lay speed when running 146 blocks/hr (671 SBEs/hr); peak 228 blocks/hr (1,049 SBEs/hr). Slab 219sqm. Entire structure completed in 20.5 laying hours. Less than 0.1% wastage of blocks.
Special: First real build; roof trusses and prefab kitchen ordered from 3D TAD; Mike interviewed by Channel 9 News
