but ACB, the regulations are not tightened at all....its all just another furphy again by the govnuts...
all the foreigners have to do is register now......they are still allowed to buy without restrictions as per the new laws introduced in Feb 09.... under the new laws they did not have to pre register.... now they are changed and they need to pre register.... nothing else... they can still buy any house, old or new in OZ...no restrictions on price etc I believe they have been paying cash, or have foreign loans at less than 2% to fund these purchases.... they are buying here, due to the restrictions in china, on investment properties....
