I can understand completely if people think the future shares prices I've suggested for the shares listed are extreme.
I also understand if people see this as just a hindsight exercise. Sure I shouldve posted this stuff a couple of days prior to the correction but who would believe me then as HC at that time was all raging bulls - at least at the moment there is a much better chance IMO of some people considering this stuff.
The price targets I had on these stocks are those I had on them once we went into correction. I am therefore completely unsurprised with the carnage to spec stock prices to this point - anybody who traded during the tech crash will see the similarities with spec stocks doubling/tripling etc particularly in the last 9-12 months (most of which were previously mining stocks anyway) and their fate.
And how many of those spec stocks remain - not many - some were rebadged - and have re-emerged during the bull run but most disappeared.
These price targets are simply based on the base prices prior to their exuberant runups and the support levels in between and with the popping of this bubble's over-exuberant pricing assumptions and outlook i see no reason why they will not revert to these price levels as the index drops further.
It is very very normal to see drops after big spikes/climbs/uptrends are broken climb back down the mountain the other side - eg. look at sen, gdn, fxr etc. What is very very unusual is for stocks to fall only part way back down the mountain without reaching support then climb all the way back up the mountain.
Many stocks - specs and large caps have only fallen part way down the mountain - some have hit support - some have not - even some markets are in the same boat eg. FTSE has broken key support at 6000 and has not completed its fall to next support. This is what everybody should be looking at - not just the indices - look at the top stocks in the index - these tell you what will happen next.
From a fundamentals point of view drops to these levels also makes sense to me.
However time will tell and we all have different opinions.
Perhaps another chartist such as Macrae12 or rkjk could provide their TA opinion on some of the stocks i mentioned.
