Most disagree and say the Word is Jesus.
If this be the case and as the key message in these verses is clearly Word and Who, then whomever the Word is, They are clearly the one that spoke the Gens creation account into being as that is clearly defined, determined by;
John 1:3 - All things were made through him; and without him was not any thing made that was made "
