I personally see reasons for concern. As you say July sales was missed. They only mentioned the July sales a month or so earlier so you'd assume it was already in the final process. Did they try and not sell any? Then as you say they just blew over it saying August was the new date. No reason was given or further updates on it.
I hate to go back on this little piece but the red flag for me was in the IPO re the performance shares for a 5 day rise in the share price - which was then achieved in the following 5 days and millions of shares handed over when at the time there was 20m on issue. I don't know the exact figure off the top of my head but it was a significant % of the company at the time (still is). For me that looked like they were in the business of selling shares not mc (sorry to Peter King if he reads this I know your view and I can see you rolling your eyes : )
Next disappointment was issuing new share to "sophisticated" investors at .30 when the price was 40 odd. I know this is pretty common but still why did they need to discount it my guess is they took what they could get.
those that pay attention to international markets would have saw the massive surge in mj companies in the U.S. And subsequent bubble (rendering many of the shares worthless, literally worthless absolutely no liquidity, zero!!) I believe the called it the dot bong boom? Anyway was interesting to see. I had concerns as to why they raised capital here when they were planning on doing all operations from Israel and never even mentioned any Australian involvement, obviously besides raising capital here. To be fair though the recent talks of legalising weren't on the table then. I know companies in the U.S. Are having a lot tax troubles with the mj industry because even though it may be legal in the state in which they operate, paying federal income tax on something that is still illegal at a federal level has been a huge headache. I assumed something similar may happen with this if it was still illegal how are they to pay distributions to Australian investors when (at least for now) it's deemed illegal here.
Those things and a few more have my guard up on it.
Anyway just some thoughts (don't crucify me, I won't help this company fail and I won't help it succeeding)
Good luck to holders a true punt but the more risk the more reward I guess.
