    Chris,

Be carefull with that report. It quotes the risks of getting CVT and PVT in patients who get Covid-19. However, if you look at Table 1 of that report, these people are not the same healthy young people who are developing CVT/PVT for the very first time after receiving the vaccine. Rather, they appear to be very, very ill patients many who have a history of already having suffered from these very same conditions:

    Table 1:
Of the 224 patients with Covid-19 who developed PVT:
    – 54.1% or 123 had already had past PVT; 129 or 57.6% had Hypertension; 156 or 69.6% had Venous Disease; 163 or 72.8% had Liver Disease; 80 or 35.7% had Diabetes mellitus; 92 or 41.1% had Maligency; 47 or 21.0% had Ischemic heart diseases; etc, etc

Of the 20 patients with Covid-19 who developed CVT:
    – 3 or 15.0% had past CVT; 5 had Hypertension; 5 had Ischemic heart diseases; 3 had Venous Disease; 5 had Chronic lower resp. disease; 5 had Diabetes mellitus; 3 had Malignancy; etc, etc

They don't quote any figures on numbers of young healthy patients.

    Regards

    SP
