OT - just on the topic of shorting. I'm not familiar with explicit shorting in penny stocks, however 'shorting' would be relevant in the context of the position of traders in the trade. Regardless there is still always a short and long side to every trade even with pennies as this is observable by bullish and bearish price action. So I would say it's relevant as a term to describe the momentum between bulls and bears which many traders particularly newer ones may not consider just based on a lot of the one sided posting I see on the forum in general.
