Acquisitions have been discussed many times on this forum - even shortly after BRN listed on ASX it was a hot topic. Reality is M&A can happen in many ways and personally I think it is too early.
Sure it would be nice to get CISCO to buy a stake in BRN but I rather see BRN securing significant projects and revenue driven deals first - imagine VOLVO, NISSAN RENAULT ALLIANCE or TOYOTA (just one of them) signing up a deal with BRN using their SNAP technology for its autonomous vehicles... This kind of deal will drive SP up significantly and ultimately CISCO or anyone else interested in a stake will have to pay a lot more per share. Peter Van Der Made knows his technology is superior and he is not in a hurry nor is he desperate, IMO.
Remember; patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet.
In my view, let’s establish some significant revenue driven projects/deals first then M&A will become a lot more interesting.
