Hmmm, this is all once again what I see as bad journalism. This looks stinking BUT To me it is akin to paying tax, If a company makes X amount of dollars and pays 10% to a company, surely the tax is paid on profit. There is only really one amount of profit. But if you share that profit, it is taking 10% from thos other entities that share in that profit.
I assume (god knows I am always in trouble for assuming) that the 10% is on profit. This is about dollars.

I am confused.
In Australia, if you own a lease that is making dollars, you pay a %age of profit to the ATO, you pay royalties to the owners of the land, you pay into the near community and you often pay Native Title money. All of those figures are added together. But I think that Epanelo are asking for 10% from each companies profit.
