I rang the liquidator, and received a letter. Everyone should receive one in due course; and I don't really want to show my letter here. However the summary (which you are all probably aware of) is that there will be no return to shareholders. I asked the status of legal issues, and told it is still ongoing (not happy to say more). However I consider the letter sufficient to claim Merlin as a loss (definitely not advising anyone).
Obviously consult with your own accountants. I enjoy the Hot Copper sentiment. It would be a challenge to put sentiment 'buy'
