A2 Milk and Tower gain in NZ, Spark falls

"A2 Milk rose 4.9 per cent to $2.58. The shares have risen 19 per cent since last Tuesday when the company updated shareholders at its annual meeting in Sydney, with the chief executive saying the board wanted to be clear about its performance. In the four months to October, revenue was at $155.2m, compared to $79.3m in the same period of the 2016 financial year

"It's broken into a new trading range, it's really well supported and there's good volume running through," said Peter McIntyre, investment adviser at Craigs Investment Partners .

"Their four-monthly update has captured the imaginations of investors and institutions alike, particularly with their growth aspirations - we've seen investors flood into that stock, remembering it wasn't that long ago they were trading around $2."
