Good Question!!! Only my humble opinion. Yes, they do teach about charts, however, like any logical mathematical analysis, the future forecasts are based on historical data. There are some excellent chartists in the world, but they are dealing with a myriad of historical variables, and thus need to discern between what is an important variable, and an insignificant variable. If you mix an important variable with an insignificant variable, it does not matter how good your chart seems to be. An incorrect analysis will be made. Analysing charts takes years of practice, and dedication, and real-time testing. If it was easy, anyone could be a chartist, and get rich quick. However, people like myself, are looking for a good idea, that is well financed, and has the potential for long term gains. I am not looking to make money on the move of the stock, every day, hour, minute or second. I am looking for a solid company, that will prosper long into the future.
