" What decisions would you make to turn the company around? "

K31th, how about investing in the product that makes the money..

Here is a novel idea, compete on product. Any management that can only cut costs is amateur hour. They eventually get to a dead end. That's why GD left. AJ still wont improve the product, but wants to embark on a risky Asian minority shareholding of new businesses. They have proven already that they can lose a lot of money there with Jetstar Asia and Jetstar pacific. By delaying the new 380s and Using that money on a gamble, rather investing in the QF is just plain dumb. Gambling in Asia is up to them, but to use the capital that the existing airline needs is just making things worse. QF needs talent at the top, AJ is not up to the job.

Get rid of the 767s or at least update the cabins. Please don't give me the "but it's the fault of the 787 delay". Other airlines have adapted to this' problem, why can't QF management?

Also stop flogging those 747 and get 777 ( they reakon that could save over 300 million bucks a year on fuel alone).

How about get some people on the board who know about aviation, as distinct from just a finance deal making background
