Bought back in today - incredible but understandable that it got back to this level. As Miningnut says the quarterly was a shocker - but pleasingly they told it as it is. They're not hiding or making excuses for where they are or what has to be done. Fact remains - AVM's got a high grade large deposit and an underground that will return to profitability soon. If they get the basics right - as they did before, then we should see similar shareholder returns to what we experienced over the last few years. Its a case of surviving long enough to see the spike in copper price once the supply dries up due to all the scaling back or killed off projects. If we think the price is volatile now wait and see what happens in a couple of years time. World economy picking up, copper production irreversibly crashing due to limited previous capital investment.
The mining review is likely to be a kick in the twins but having a conclusion is more important. Uncertainty has been killing us.
