My thinking was that an off-take makes financing a far easier prospect as it underpins the economics of the project - so don't disagree with your view and the result.

Having Kopex involved has been good for the company, but an off-take gives them the potential to raise capital at a higher SP (hopefully!!)to pay back the drilling that has been done by Kopex (as the agreement allows for) and introduces more competitive tension into the process of selling down the asset (rather than just having Kopex sitting at the head of the table calling the shots just because they funded the drilling).
