packer will only be used for his money anyway so....? no doubt he will be wanting create something of his own empire separate to what his old man did. so he rubs shoulders with some resource small-mid cap heavyweights who are flexible to entrepeneurialship (is that a word?). you can guarantee the subject of everything that miles and forrest are up to has been in conversation. i bet he'd love to be at a table of his shmoozers and say "yeh well i've got this diamond things happening, should be a winner". although hopefully if he does make an entry into lom it isn't at mates rates. this could hold the sp back for a while if any of this speculation were to eventuate. regardless of all this next year is shaping up to be a big one as others have already said. first 3-6 months should be telling. if this x ray flow sorter gets cranked up and is finding heaps of the less than 1ct diamonds that are missed by hand sorting we'll be laughing. no delays during wet season etc etc etc. all the best all.
