Have seen it once before in Bolnisi Gold, where they issued option holders matching options, with another 2 years,on the exact same terms. They were 20 cent options, which were out of the money and the company got taken over at A$3.20 a share. Code was BSG. Would be about 17 years ago. Never seen it again. So, issue went to existing option holders, not shareholders. Of course the directors were long of them, so they pushed it to happen. Where there's a will there's a way!
