Hi again thesunshinesbright.
You ask "How is it "possible" to judge the timing of the Kyrgyzstan governments actions should it choose to "revoke licences and seize the assets" of western companies operating in Kyrgyzstan. Hence does that not make this issue a problem over all time frames (short and longer term)?"
Of course it is not possible to predict this but you are assuming they have found and identified a resourse so Putin can control all the O & G.
This being the case the SP will have appreciated significantly on this news IMO. THat may be when I say sayonara, who knows?
You also asked........"Also I am interested to know your views as to how these influences (Post #1211635) will assist MHL more than otherwise may have been the case in order to evolve the prospect!"
Putin and the Government may be keen to see these foreign companies spend our money and identify resourses quickly, when this is done they will then have something to take - why on earth would they revoke licences without having all the work done - so they can do it themselves - or get another company to come in and do it? LOL, what a joke!!
I am grateful for your heads up on the political and sovereign risk, I am well aware and plan to be long gone by the time there is any real risk of political interference negatively impacting my investment.
Cheers
Cabe
