It was always our view when we purchased HotCopper over 12 months ago now that we would not unnecessarily edit what members had to say.
We strategically built the "Favourites" functionality that would allow members to bookmark message boards, bookmark members and even IGNORE members.
It was always our belief that a community censors itself. Unfortunately the last few weeks on this board has been an enormous disappointment to us and we know a great number of users of this site.
We would ask you to please refrain from personal attacks on other members. If you disagree with someone's view that is fine but don't criticise the person.
As always we sincerely appreciate your support of the HotCopper community and hope more drastic steps are not required.
