imo Hotcopper has put up for too long with this forum being misused as a venue for religious and racist squabbles supposedly under the guise of discussing 'World Affairs'.
It's a stock and investment forum.
Until today I have had the General Forum switched off altogether and the result is to deliver the Latest Posts as one would expect - ie stocks and issues that affect stocks.
I do not have any posters in Ignore but there are plenty I no longer see.
If what Pat is indicating is tha the Forum itself (HC) may be at risk then I say 'Fire away Pat", and when they come back under new nics wipe those out to and block their IP addresses if they are on dialups.
I am heartily sick of the crap that has degenerated the General Forum to near uselessness supposedly in the name of freedom of speech and I know from many other HC members whom I chat with on and off that the vast majority are also sick to death of it.
