Like you, last night I was looking at a few stocks, and did a comparison of MPO's share price over the last 6 months compared to Legacy's share price.

Very interestingly, the chart for each is pretty much the same. If anything MPO has slightly out performed LEG. So perhaps it is a case of MPO being too tightly aligned to LEG, until we hear news of what is happening with Mungi or Wolfcamp.
