    a "massive bubble" is when PE ratios are way overvalued.
    From 2003 - 2007, all that share prices did was keep up with rising company profits, as the economy was doing well.
    PE ratios were not overly high, unlike 1987 when PE ratios were ridiculously high at the peak.
    hence I disagree about a bubble. the economy has deteriorated, that's what has happened.
