Looking back at the announcement history on HC (as I thought that comment about Wellington was interesting as they only own 47M shares), but I think Wellington increased their holding from 47M to 86M, all bought on the market (with a couple of increase in substantial holding late 2015) so retailers own around 125M shares or 13%.
If that comment is true, it does make sense as Wellington are the nearly the 2nd largest holders, after Guggenheim with 121.5M and Pioneer with 89.5M and are the ones that accumulate on the market.
