Would have been some very terse words between the sides of Larry and Pete, and Diane, when she told them that the merger was not going to proceed. The founders (and Larry is still the biggest individual shareholder) and the retail holders are similar - to hell with the figures and the consequences, we're busting through - which is strange because Larry is a graduate of the millionaires factory with multi finance and IT degrees and I would have expected him to be more calculated. Anyway, it will come out in the wash and one day we will know how it will end up.
