I have spoken to the share registry and received the same advice.

Honestly, this is poor form. I don't understand why the prospectus was issued to the clients of the underwriter (or broker) and if it wasn't fully subscribed to then it being made available to the public.

It has resulted in the public having their funds locked up in the meantime whilst other trading opportunities could have been taken or bank interest earnt.
