    Thanks for the contribution Bone.

I am not comfortable with the pattern personally for the following resaons. Not a criticism, but opening up the discussion further for other comments.

I dont feel comfortable with a lot of chartists lines being not exact or very close as being proper touches/ Some, and this is not about you but my approach to the 'science' having to qualify on a higher degree. Otherwise one can want to find patterns, and that is emotions creeping in. Just a discipline I follow being the fear of emotions and greed.

Top Horizontal Line: At least 2 reaction highs are required to form the top horizontal line. The highs do not have to be exact, but they should be within reasonable proximity of each other. There should be some distance between the highs, and a reaction low between them.

Lower Ascending Trend Line: At least two reaction lows are required to form the lower ascending trend line. These reaction lows should be successively higher, and there should be some distance between the lows. If a more recent reaction low is equal to or less than the previous reaction low, then the ascending triangle is not valid.

Duration: The length of the pattern can range from a few weeks to many months with the average pattern lasting from 1-3 months.

It is certainly something IMO to be watching out for, but not exact, and too soon to be a good reliable pattern.

By the way, the breakout of the last ascending triangle ending 8th Jan was 2c over a 200% suggested move.

For a stronger move forward, I would like to see this pattern form, but over longer term. Until then, it is wait and see what forms. Presently there is resistance at 2.06, and any possible break a target of 2.24/2.26 Patience can lead to wisdom, lol.

A nice sideways move currently on lower volume is good consolidation from last weeks heady and unsustainable moves. A breakout needs to be on good volume.
