Sometimes the comfort zone may become too cosy for some. Perhaps the idea of trying and failing scares people more than maintaining the status quo.
I remember asking an ex cricketer "how did you know when it was time to retire". His answer was simple...when you walk out to the middle and the butterflies in your stomach are no longer there, it's time to move on.
