From a charting perspective SDL had several periods of Rise and Consolidation during the last 6 months, and is now entering a period called a Long Straight.

From one of the books that I've read it detailed Long Straights as very significant periods of consolidation. What tends to occur, is that a stock will continue to trade horizontally within a narrow range prior to the breakout.

The longer the straight the more significant the breakout. If SDL stays in this holding pattern then holders better buckle their seat belts prior to take off.
