Yes, LNG holds around 5% of MEL.

Interesting that Arrow wants BOW. I'm seeing a trend that the big 4 LNG projects in Gladstone seem to be moving a bit more to shale gas as well.

Eg. Origin Energy is JV with Empire Oil & Gas and Norwest Energy in WA for shale gas. Conoco-Phillips is in JV with NSE in the Canning Basin for shale gas.

Santos is exploring the prospects of expanding to shale gas in the Cooper Basin under the SACB JV. A MoU was signed between GLNG & SACB JV for conventional gas supplies to Gladstone. Yet STO is taking over ESG, reflects more gas is needed.

BG Group farm-in deal with DLS for Cooper Basin shale gas.

Arrow + BOW for its Curtis Island LNG, maybe a future deal to farm-in BPT's PEL218 for shale gas can be a possibility.

I wonder if there is any connection between Arrow Energy in buying out Fisherman's Landing LNG as a second LNG terminal, as its own Curtis Island LNG is the only LNG project out of the 5 projects not yet in FID stage. Also considering both HQCEC and PetroChina are subsidiaries of CNPC.
