I hope some you can go back to 1978-79, England had(has) plenty of coal in the ground,there was a miners strke and then it became to expensive to mine as compared to importing it from Australia, so they closed the mines in the U.K., and got their cheaper coal from elsewhere, I think it is more likely that the Chinese are buying this African turnout to give them some insurance should there be massive price hikes or strikes elsewhere, i.e. Brazil.
