Quite the contrary. I believe the ASIC report confirms that the deal is good for shareholders despite not having sufficient details on the make-up of the final Balance Sheets of AMP and Hendersons.

Whilst the mum and dad investors dont have the capacity to assess the future Statements of Financial Position (Balance Sheets), most competent analysts run detailed financial models that could confirm these details. From where I sit, the modelling will prove to be be sound when the split is voted on. At that point in time the retail share offer will be long over and the big instos will be VERY LONG AMP!!!

The accumulation will start very shortly (if it hasn't already). We will not see AMP at these levels ever again.

For those that remeber ORI at $4.50, a similar dire warning was given by every analyst about the future of the company, just before its long running uptrend commenced (ORI is now at $10.28).

Whilst I might be 1 day or 1 week or even 1 month out in my prediction, make no mistake by 1 years time I'll be spot-on!!!
