It would be great if your figures on what Beibu is worth to each of the participants are proven to be correct.
I still worry about where the development dollars are coming from for HZN/FAR for them to continue their participation in Beibu but HZN did say in the preamble to that RISC report released in early July that they intended to resolve the financing issues for their two developments in this calendar year so we'll have to wait for that outcome.
I see that Bloomberg TV are reporting tonight that CNOOC has made new discoveries of oil and gas in recent days in the South China sea-it would be great if they decided to concentrate on developing those fields and not take up their entitlement to the 51% back-in rights they have on Beibu.
We'll obviously know more when the quarterlies are released by this quartet over the next two weeks.
