what are the haulage costs of said copper at said dome? i imagine obscene. it's in most of Alaska not exactly highly accessible.
granted I don't know the ins and outs of caribou as I'm not interested in the project but most Alaskan projects I've seen have to have huge resources to justify the development costs (access) and haulage costs
